Druyes les belles Fontaines

This village is home to four historical monuments: the castle, the gatehouse, the church, and the washhouse, as well as a classified site— the lime tree next to the church, which is believed to date back to the time of Sully.
Druyes is also the birthplace of two remarkable figures: Jean-Roch Coignet, a veteran soldier (Grognard) who received the very first Légion d'Honneur on June 18, 1804, from the hands of First Consul Bonaparte.
